Angie Rowntree is the founder of Sssh.com, the web’s first porn-for-women/feminist porn site, which launched in 1999. Angie was also the first film director to delve into 360 virtual reality erotica geared toward women, employing a dynamic storytelling method. In addition to directing original films for Sssh, Angie is also the executive producer of the Mindbrowse.com, an online discussion series. An inductee into the AVN Hall of Fame, Founders Division, Angie has won many honors over the years, including the 2017 XBIZ Adult Site of the Year - For Women award. Her films have been selected for inclusion at numerous mainstream film festivals. She has spoken at the Sundance Film Festival and will be speaking at SXSW in 2018 about using explicit sex as a storytelling device.
