Mahx Capacity is a founding member and the Creative Director of AORTA films, a queer/feminist porn studio creating lusty, opulent, ethical fuckery. They come from an experimental performance background, and identify as a queer, white, able-bodied, fat, femme maker and performer. AORTA films' work has been presented and distributed globally, winning awards this year at the Hacker Porn Film Festival (Rome) and BRIEFS (Oakland). Their first feature film, ( ), will premiere January 2019 at the Invisible Dog Art Center in Brooklyn, NY. Capacity has been featured as a speaker on expirimental pornography at Brooklyn College and on Tristan Taormino's Sex Out Loud Podcast, and they are currently developing a college curriculum for the embodied negotiation of explicit art. They are a maximalist who believes in the radical promise of pleasure, and the powerful obscenity of bodies in all their glorious, illicit humanity.
